BTW
If you haven't seen "The Italian Job" yet you should...as a female I enjoyed staring at Mark Wahlberg's arms for the entire length (ahem) of the movie but overall it was very enjoyable...great storyline from beginning to end...no overdone special effects or stunts...just a great movie :)

Nov. 4th
"Finding Nemo"
"Legally Blonde 2"
"Eight Crazy Nights"

Yikes!
Best thing this week (other than Sopranos) was the "Hulk" movie...though I didn't see "Finder's Fee" so it's unfair to give that statement...but if it is anywhere near the disaster that the others were--well...we'll see....

Good morning Charlie!!
The second and hopefully last segment in this series based on the hit show from way back when...surprisingly I didn't want to turn off the TV and run...the stunts were terrible and overdone (as they were in Vin Diesel's "XXX") but the story line this time around was satisfying to say the most...

"28 Days Later" is about a guy who wakes from a coma to find most of the world has been infected with the "Rage Virus" that is spread by blood exchange--a single drop in the eye will turn you into a grunting canibal...not bad though--semi realistic...

"It Runs In The Family" surprised me as a feel-good somewhat funny forray into the loves of a Jewish family. It stars oodles of Douglas family members including Michael's hottie son Cameron who had his first acting experience in this film and Mike's mother and ex-wife of Kirk Douglas who did well considering his stroke makes it difficult for him to speak. Worth a watch...

"George of the Jungle 2" If you are over the age of 10 don't even bother...and that bloody theme song stays with you until 28 days later...get it? Ha ha....never mind.

Last week's release "Matrix Reloaded" stays consistant with the first and is our customers top pick...greatly anticipating the third installment.

"Wrong Turn" was also released starring former 'Buffy' femme fatale Eliza Dushku as a near fatality in a basic run of the mill story about campers who get attacked by a slew of inbred monsters...

"Conviction" stars Omar Epps as a convict trying to bring peace and harmony to a world of murderers and rapists...sorry--didn't see this one--just judging by the cover :)

Gotta love those Wahlberg men!
October 7th Releases

"The Italian Job"
"Hollywood Homicide"
"Down With Love"
"Safety of Objects"
"The In-Laws"

Have yet to see "The Italian Job" but I bet it's worth staring at Mark Wahlberg for two hours...

"Hollywood Homicide" was a major snore as was the corny and so not funny "Down With Love"...tragic waste of Hollywood talent...

"Safety of Objects" was...different...it's really the best compliment I could give this movie...great cast though...

"Daddy Day Care"
The movie of the moment and our customer's top pick stars Eddy Murphy as a jobless father with child-care issues. It's funny...surprisingly so...Eddy hasn't impressed me since "48 Hours".

"Anger Management", "Holes", "Mailibu's Most Wanted" (another surprise), and "The Core" (a la "Armageddon") round out the top five in our store this week.

Sept 30th Releases

"Bend it Like Beckham" (Find star Parminder K. Nagra on ER this season as med student Neela Rasgotra)
"2 Fast 2 Furious" (No Vin? No biggie.)
"Dreamcatcher" (Check our former New Kid On The Block and current "Boomtown" hottie Donnie Wahlberg as the Down's Syndrome afflicted Duddits.)
